Hosting
This service enables you to register and maintain your own address space so that
you or your company can use e-mail address like person@yourcompany.co.zw or have
a web site address like http://www.yourcompany.co.zw. This is a mandatory
requirement for hosting your website or providing dial-in mail server / virtual
mail server services. This service attracts initial registration and
configuration charges along with ongoing monthly fees. Rates available on

Dial-In Mail Servers
Our dial-in mail server service enables you to operate a mail server on your
local area network that serves your internal e-mail requirements and connects to
the Internet regularly to deliver mail intended for recipients outside your
offices or to receive mail from external senders. It also allows as many of your
LAN users as you like to use e-mail without having to have their own modem or
phone line. Using this services requires the establishment of a preferably
dedicated mail server on your LAN that also has it's own modem and phone
line/telephone extension for making dial-up connections to Utande. Information

able to quote you for the supply of the necessary server hardware and software
required for this service.

Dial-In Web Proxy Servers
Our dial-in web proxy server service makes it possible for selected users of
your local area network to browse the Internet through a shared dial-up
connection. As with mail servers using this services requires the establishment
of a preferably dedicated mail server on your LAN that also has it's own modem
and phone line/telephone extension for making dial-up connections to Utande.

Virtual Mail Servers
The virtual mail server service makes it possible for you to use your own domain
name without the cost of establishing your own mail server. This is ideal for
small business who do not have a LAN, have very few users or a distributed user
base, or wish to avoid the cost of a central mail server but still enjoy the
prestige of sharing similar e-mail addresses reflecting your company/brand name.
Each user would have to have their own modem and telephone line/extension and
operate an individual dial-in access account with Utande. Details of initial
setup costs and subsequent monthly charges are available on request.

Permanent Connection / Leased Line Access
For further information regarding connecting your
offices to the Internet via an ordinary leased line connection or via a 64K (or
higher) HDSL link
please contact us. This facility makes it possible to operate your own mail
server or web proxy server without dial-up access or host your own web server
and web site which typically requires a permanent connection to the Internet.
(Please note that due to the inherent weaknesses of ISM band radio technologies
and the problems that interference in this frequency band can cause to your
connection to the Internet we do no support such technologies. In some instances
the use of laser based wireless communication may be suitable.)
