Utande Internet Services has been delivering top quality Internet and connectivity services to the Zimbabwean market place since 1997. Initially as a Microsoft® Certified Solution Provider and now as Microsofts preferred Internet Service Provider (ISP) for Zimbabwe, Utande offers a broad range of individual, small business and corporate Internet solutions through Microsoft technologies.

Utande is a wholly Zimbabwean company and this is reflected in our name and logo. Utande means "(spider's) web or something fine and delicate as in a spider's web" and is derived from the shona "dandemutande" being "web of the spider".

The Utande logo has its origins in traditional African woven mats examples of which are shown here. Working with these images, Chaz Maviyane-Davies, renowned artist, incorporated the "@" symbol which is recognised the world over as part of an Internet e-mail address and is used as representative of our business.

From this early design the next step was to incorporate the name Utande. Chaz achieved this by replacing the "a" with the "u" of Utande and the result was our award winning logo of which we are extremely proud.
